Celebrating Excellence at the Longmont Artists’ Guild Winter Art Show
The Longmont Artists’ Guild kicked off 2025 with a spectacular Winter Art Show reception on Friday, January 10th, at The Great Frame Up in downtown Longmont. With an inspiring variety of artwork on display, the event highlighted the incredible talent and creativity of local artists. The show will run until March 8th, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the artistry. Thank you Amy Ellis (from Tumbleweed Art Collective) for judging our show!

Judges Choice (Green Ribbon)
🏆 Beth Thomas
Title: Pete the Sandpiper
Beth’s charming portrayal of a sandpiper captivated the judges with its detailed brushwork and heartfelt narrative, making it a clear favorite.
Visual Excellence (Blue Ribbon)
🏆 Richard Rumley
Title: Star Trails at the Chateau
Richard’s mesmerizing nightscape, capturing the celestial dance of stars above a historic château, earned well-deserved acclaim for its stunning composition and awe-inspiring atmosphere.
Color Excellence (Red Ribbon)
🏆 Sara L. Broers Brown
Title: Seek the Truth of Unseen
Sara’s masterful use of color brought depth and emotion to her abstract work, making it an undeniable standout in this year’s show.
Creative Excellence (Yellow Ribbon)
🏆 Jeff Goldberg
Title: Untitled
Jeff’s experimental approach and unique perspective in Untitled highlighted his innovative spirit, securing him this award.
Technical Excellence (Purple ribbon)
🏆 Bev Haring
Title: Waiting for Good News
Bev’s intricate attention to detail and mastery of technique shone through in her poignant work, earning her the Technical Excellence award.
