About Us
The mission of the Longmont Artists' Guild is to promote the creation of original art work, provide educational programs to our members and stimulate community art appreciation through exhibitions and shows.
The Longmont Artists' Guild is not just an organization, but a vibrant community of over 160 artists in Longmont, Colorado. Founded in 1957, the Guild has been a key player in the local art scene, participating in events like Longmont Arts Week, ArtWalk, and the 2nd Saturday Art Crawl. These events offer members the chance to showcase their work and connect with the community.

Our Story
Originally meeting in members' homes, the Guild moved to the Callahan House in 1959. Over the years, we've fostered artistic growth through collaboration, critique, and exhibitions. Our regular monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday from September to May and provide a platform for learning, idea sharing, and project discussions. We also use online platforms like MeetUp and Facebook for outreach and networking.
Education is not just a part of our mission, it's at the core of what we do. We offer workshops on artistic techniques, business skills, and show preparation, helping our members not just survive, but thrive in the art world.
