Watercolor and Pastels with Vicky Russell
Whether using pastels, watercolor, or a mixed media approach, artist Vicky Russell brings depth and vitality to her paintings. Viewers become emotionally involved, their memory released by familiar images.
She will demonstrate using watercolor on Stonehenge printmaking paper then adding pastel for final details.

Pumpkin Carving Contest and Fundraiser
It's that time of year when everything is all about pumpkins, and Longmont Artists' Guild is getting in on the action by hosting a Pumpkin Carving Contest Saturday, Oct. 17. There are two carving sessions, from 10 a.m. to noon and from noon to 2 p.m.
Sign up to be a carver by October 10. There will be cash prizes and pumpkin pie.
