We also encourage you to bring your own sketchbook, in progress or completed, to work in during the lecture and to share with other members.

About Nyla:

Boulder resident, Nyla Witmore, a painter for 34 years, has been represented by galleries in Boulder, Pasadena and Key West.

Nyla was formerly a writer before becoming an artist. She will bring travel sketchbook journals from many trips abroad. Materials, formatting, layouts and planning your book before you leave will be discussed as well as tips for writing engaging stories and descriptions.

These ideas will help future paintings from your sketches and will help you get the most out of trips and observations.
