Monthly Meeting - Intuitive Creating with Izabela Tysver

Join us for the Longmont Artists' Guild monthly meeting on Thursday, November 21st, at Longmont Public Media! Doors open at 5:30 PM, with announcements at 5:50 PM, followed by a demo at 6:00 PM.

This month, Izabela will demonstrate her free-flowing, “intuitive,” and “uncensored” approach to creativity. Using repurposed books and handmade journals, Izabela will show how you can embrace creativity in just five minutes, no matter the obstacles.

She will explore a variety of mixed media techniques, including collaging, painting, stitching, tearing and mending, gesso transfer, and incorporating found objects. Izabela will also share her own creations, along with her extensive collection of handmade journals and altered books. Her approach encourages adventure and exploration in art.

Since starting her artistic journey in 2020, Izabela has used creativity as a way to navigate mental health challenges, transforming it into a career. Her uninhibited and uncensored process has inspired many to dive into their own creativity.

Izabela’s motto: "Art is not something to study and analyze; it’s a way to evoke emotions in both the creator and the viewer."

About Izabela:

Izabela is a very intuitive mixed media creator and artist. She finds art to be the best way to self-healing and self-connecting. Art, for her, has been a therapy in her life and mental health struggles. She guides others to create with flow and heart without the limitations of specific rules or regulations. Her work represents a lot of repurposed materials and natural objects.

Izabela lives in Sinclair, Wyoming. In her community, she is a devoted volunteer in the local art studio, offering art/coaching classes.

Izabela has taught art classes at Casper Collage, local businesses in Casper, Rawlins Red Desert Arts Gallery, Cheyenne Creativity Center, WY, and Longmont Artists’ Guild, CO. She has exhibited her work in Casper, Cheyenne, Pinedale and Rawlins, WY.

She is open for commissions & collaborations at any time.
