Guest Artist: Sergio Lopez, Oil & Gouache painter & teacher

Sergio Lopez is a Fine Art Painter and lives and paints in Sonoma County and has spent years chasing the moods of that place. He feels his paintings are moments—real moods, real places, maybe even ones you’ve walked through yourself. Sergio attended a formal art college at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. He often attends the plein air invitational events including the one presented by the Sausalito Center for the Arts. He has done presentations on “Tips On Painting Ellipses”, “How To Create A High Chroma Palette”, “3 tips to Get Un-stuck And Painting Again” as well as “3 tips for better Gouache Consistency”.
