Len Chmiel is a Western Landscapes Fine Art Oil Painter, he is currently in four galleries and has won several awards for his works.

My intention is to expand the boundaries of realism rather than merely painting a facsimile.

The paintings I do outdoors I label as “on-the-spotters”, or also on-location paintings.

A label like Plein Aire categorizes one and gives the impression that denies my devotion to curiosity.
